Running on 302

Last year a buddy and I did a 120 mile ride in the White Mountains. Part of that was on 302 and it was probably the worst part of the ride. We did an epic climb and once we hit some flat ground, the down pour and hail started. Yes, hail in June with a sleeveless jersey, shorts, no sock or gloves. In addition to that I felt like Sh!T. My heart rate was so low that I probably fell asleep a few times on the ride. It was so tough mentally for me to get through the day, but at the end of it all it was a huge accomplishemnt.

Fast forward five months. Kate had to work a wine dinner at the Mt Washington hotel on Sat night. We had friends over on Friday night, so I wasn't exactly that excited to drive to Bretton Woods and basicaly sit around. Well the night ended up being really nice, so well worth it.

I have been spending a lot of time in hotels lately. I am not sure why, but lately I can not sleep well at hotels. Saturday night was no different, I probably got a sold
